About Me:
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who values patient centered, thoughtful, and straightforward care. My background includes outpatient psychiatry, emergency behavioral health, and oncology, which has given me a deeper understanding of how stress, medical issues, and life transitions affect mental health. I welcome adults of all backgrounds and work to create a supportive and collaborative space where patients feel comfortable discussing their symptoms and treatment goals. I offer in person appointments on select days in my Lynbrook, New York office in addition to telehealth services.
I have a special interest in women’s mental health, including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, PMDD, and reproductive related concerns. Many patients come to me during times of change or instability, and my goal is to offer practical, evidence based strategies that help them feel more grounded and in control of their daily functioning.
I have more than ten years of formal medical and psychiatric education and clinical training, which allows me to approach each patient’s care with a strong foundation in both evidence based practice and real world experience. My training is in a variety of settings - hospitals, ambulatory centers, and private practice. I completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Molloy University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and Counseling from Pace University.
My approach is supportive, direct, and tailored to each individual. I believe in meeting patients where they are, building a trusting therapeutic relationship, and using clear communication to help guide treatment. All patients are welcome, and my focus is on delivering accessible, compassionate mental health care that reflects each person’s needs and experiences.
